Interesting links

A couple of links here to some writing by Hannah Silva on solo performing, (which will come in useful when I need some extra quotes), and an interview with Chris Goode, (who is currently lodging at the Bike Shed Theatre, half way through a three week residency) by Belinda Dillon for Exeunt magazine. Both will be invaluable to dip into over the next few weeks and both of whom feature in this post.

Thompson’s Live

On the 1st of June, after a week of performing at the pop up theatre at TR2, Chris Goode and Company hosted a cultural conversation in the small rehearsal room. Thompson’s Live is a fortnightly pod cast. Chris invites three guests to talk about something they’ve seen and then the conversation opens out more generally. I was really pleased to be asked to join Chris on his Plymouth pod cast and even more pleased when he said the conversation would be geared towards solo performance. Here you can hear myself with Hannah Silva, Mark Leahy and Chris Goode chewing the cultural cud.
